Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment<\/em><\/strong> has said that plans for the casino resort were still moving forward despite the global Coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\nUnder the working title of ‘Inspire’, the casino resort will be located in Incheon, near South Korea\u2019s capital Seoul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Due to many restrictions in place because of the Covid-19 pandemic, observers argue that the 2022 completion deadline could be unrealistic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
World economies are already struggling as countries implement lockdowns, curfews and other restrictions as part of efforts to contain the further spread of Covid-19. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In several countries, only essential services have remained opened during mandatory lockdowns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mohegan CEO, Mario Kontomerkos, said: “Regarding Inspire, work continues and we are working toward our 2022 goal.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
