{"id":5279,"date":"2020-04-06T00:51:08","date_gmt":"2020-04-06T00:51:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/?p=5279"},"modified":"2026-04-24T06:25:12","modified_gmt":"2026-04-24T09:25:12","slug":"singapore-casinos-close-month","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/singapore-casinos-close-month","title":{"rendered":"Singapore casinos close for one month"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Since next Tuesday, only essential services and key economic sectors permitted to continue operating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Singapore.- Marina Bay Sands and Resorts World Sentosa will close their doors from tomorrow after the national government announced measures to fight the spread of Coronavirus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From Tuesday, only essential services and key economic sectors  are permitted to continue operating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to <em>Inside Asian Gaming<\/em>, Marina Bay Sands announced over the weekend that it would suspend all integrated resort services until Monday 4 May, including the casino, hotel, shops, food and beverage outlets and its ArtScience Museum.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hotel reservations will be cancelled and guests already booked into the hotel will be relocated once the closure period begins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Resorts World Sentosa will do the same and will suspend most operations from Monday, including the casino and popular attractions Universal Studios Singapore, S.E.A.
