Japan.- Japan-based gaming equipment supplier Sega Sammy Creation Inc\u00a0has promoted\u00a0Scott Winzeler\u00a0to the role of President and Chief Executive with immediate effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Winzeler takes on the role having served as Chairman and Chief Executive of company subsidiary Sega Sammy Creation USA Inc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cScott\u2019s experience in the gaming industry and in Japanese business will be a major asset as we move forward in expanding our global market\u201d reach, Sega Sammy Creation said\u00a0in a press release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Winzeler\u00a0was appointed in April last year to lead the North American division of Sega Sammy Creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Winzeler\u00a0has over 25 years of experience in the gaming industry including a spell as managing director of the Asian operations of casino supplier International Game Technology Inc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
