A representative of the KRA\u2019s Responsible Betting\nDepartment said that the authority held a debate at the Korean National\nAssembly featuring stakeholders on each side of the debate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While online lottery and\nsports betting are both legal in South Korea, horse racing betting may only be\nconducted at racecourses or at the KRA\u2019s LetsRun CCC-branded off-track betting\nlounges, which are available only to foreigners. Online casino is also illegal\nin the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>KRA operates and holds the exclusive betting rights over South Korea\u2019s three racecourses: <a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/sky-racing-world-extends-portfolio\"><em><strong>LetsRun Park Seoul, LetsRun Park Busan\u2013Gyeongnam <\/strong><\/em><\/a>and LetsRun Park Jeju.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, the Authority offers six types of pari-mutuel bet: win, place, quinella, exacta, quinella place, and trio.
