Australia.- The Australian government announced new measures to fight the coronavirus outbreak and informed that – as of today – all registered and licensed clubs, hotels, pubs and casinos will be closed.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The announcement came after a National Cabinet meeting, conducted via video link on Sunday night, and was not explicit about how it’s going to end this restriction. According to Prime Minister Scott Morrison, it is believed that the measure will have to be reviewed in a month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis should highlight to all Australians how serious this is and how hard we all have to work together to get this right,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou are dealing with the principal places of social gathering, where we saw people coming together on the weekend and if we don\u2019t get on top of that, we look at a much more difficult health scenario into the future.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As well as clubs, pubs, and casinos, other businesses to close include entertainment venues, cinemas, and nightclubs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
