This week, Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte announced that Metro Manila would be on a&nbsp;month-long lockdown with travel restrictions being put in place for foreign visitors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe PHP2 billion was remitted to the Socio-Civic Projects Fund (SCPF) under the Office of the President in response to Proclamation No.922, declaring a State of Public Health Emergency throughout the Philippines brought about by the Covid-19 virus,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/pagcor-targets-gaming-revenues\"><em><strong>the head of Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp (Pagcor), Andrea Domingo<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, said in a statement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe number of confirmed Covid-19 patients in the Philippines is rising and President Rodrigo Duterte already declared a state of public health emergency because of this,\u201d stated Ms Domingo. \u201cWe want to help the concerned agencies in the fight against and containment of this deadly disease.
