Macau.- Macau authorities have stepped up their efforts to fight Coronavirus by imposing quarantine restrictions on visitors arriving from Japan, Germany, France and Spain.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Inside Asian Gaming<\/em>, visitors arriving in Macau from any of the four countries in the past two weeks are required to enter quarantine for 14 days as of midday on Tuesday 10 March. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those arriving in the meantime will be required to undergo a six to eight-hour medical observation upon arrival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The total number of countries with quarantine restrictions imposed is not at seven, with Japan, Germany, France and Spain joining South Korea, Italy and Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe assume the situation in Europe will become worse and worse, and we might include all of Europe on the high-risk areas list in coming days,\u201d Director of Macau\u2019s Health Bureau, Lei Chin Ion, said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last week, Japan impose a 14-day quarantine restriction<\/a><\/em><\/strong> on all tourists from mainland China and South Korea<\/p>\n\n\n\n
