South Korea<\/a><\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\nAccording to Inside Asia Gaming, Japan will suspend all visa applications from China and South Korea and tourists from the two countries will only be allowed to land at Tokyo\u2019s Narita Airport and Osaka\u2019s Kansai Airport. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They will also be banned from taking public transport and must be quarantined in designated facilities for 14 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe will ask travellers to stay in designated areas for two weeks and not to use public transport,\u201d Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hong Kong travel agencies cancelled at least 75 tours to the country, affecting about 1,800 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As of Thursday, Japan has recorded over 1,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and recorded 12 deaths. In South Korea, one of the most affected countries by virus, more 6,000 people have been infected.
