South Korea<\/a><\/em><\/strong> and China have been grounded and cancelled the Coronavirus crisis in South Korea worsened. <\/p>\n\n\n\nThe Tourism Crisis Management Office (GGCT) issued a Level 2 Travel Alert for South Korea and all flight services between Macau and South Korea have been cancelled until 1 March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Level 2 Travel Alert recommends that Macau residents avoid non-essential travel and reconsider their current travel plans to South Korea. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Macau travel agencies have also cancelled all tours to South Korea until 15 March, according to Inside Asian Gaming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hong Kong has prohibited the entry of tourists arriving from South Korea – those that have already arrived from South Korea can travel to Macau through the Hong Kong International Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
South Korea has recorded around 1,000 cases of the virus and is now consider as \u201chigh risk area\u201d.
