South Korea.- The start of the new football season in South Korea has been postponed due to Coronavirus outbreak that has hit the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe K-league has decided to temporarily postpone the start of the 2020 K-league season until the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak eases,\u201d the South Korean League explained in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis is a measure to protect the health and safety of the citizens and our players with the highest priority against the outbreak of the COVID-19 which has entered a serious phase,\u201d the league announced after an emergency board meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Authorities have so far confirmed 763 cases of novel Coronavirus in South Korea which has led to seven deaths with five victims treated at the same hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
