US.- The first month of 2020 seems to have been quite successful for an Anderson gaming venue. Harrah\u2019s Hoosier Park racino thrived on table games and posted great figures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Indiana Gaming Commission showed it took in US$9.4 million in wagers for table games. Moreover, it reported table revenues of US$2.4 million over the same period of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI think we\u2019ve exceeded everyone\u2019s expectations with how table games performed at the property,\u201d said Trent McIntosh, senior vice president and general manager of Harrah\u2019s Hoosier Park racino. \u201cThe level of energy that this has brought to the property, from the employees to the guests \u2026 it\u2019s a whole different property today than it was 45 days ago.<\/a>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sports betting in Indiana<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sports betting<\/a><\/em><\/strong> segment continues to grow and Indiana has just shown it\u2019s profiting from it. The latest state report revealed local casinos posted US$12 million in revenue during January.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Indiana Gaming Commission published its Summary of Sports Wagering Tax and reported such results. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the document, Ameristar Casino\u2019s sportsbook was the most active. The DraftKings operated venue handled US$66 million and posted just over US$6 million revenue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blue Chip casino followed with US$49.5 million handle and US$2.8 million in revenue. The third sports betting venue in Indiana was the Horseshoe Hammond (US$13.7M handle, US$1.8M revenue).
