Those who assist others in accessing such offshore gambling sites can also be held accountable. The authorities announced the move with the motto, &#8220;gambling is a crime, so stay away.&#8221;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Japan plans to liberalise land-based gaming with the launch of integrated resorts to boost tourism. The&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/japan-still-no-news-on-osaka-and-nagasaki-ir-bids\" target=\"_blank\">two contenders for licences<\/a> for now are&nbsp;<strong>Osaka&nbsp;<\/strong>and&nbsp;<strong>Nagasaki<\/strong>. They both<strong>&nbsp;submitted IR District Development Plans&nbsp;<\/strong>that were approved by their city councils and then prefectural assemblies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bids were submitted in April ahead of the deadline set by the central government.
