Revenue reached KRW27.36bn (US$20.9m), up 296.5 per cent year-on-year and 110 per cent month-on-month. June\u2019s revenue had been\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/paradise-co-revenue-up-25-8-month-on-month-in-may\" target=\"_blank\">down 21.8 per cent month-on-month<\/a>\u00a0and 16.5 per cent year-on-year at KRW13.3bn (US$10.3m)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Table game sales were KRW24.90bn, up 138.4 per cent month-on-month and 399.6 per cent when compared to last year. Machine-game sales were<strong>\u00a0down 4.8 per cent month-on-month<\/strong>\u00a0but up 28.2 per cent year-on-year at KRW2.46bn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The table drop rose 74.2 per cent month-on-month to KRW235.49bn. On year-on-year terms, the figure was up 63.9 per cent. The aggregate table drop for the year to July 31 was down 4.2 per cent year-on-year at KRW975.23bn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the first seven months of 2022, the group\u2019s casino revenue rose 7.4 per cent year-on-year to KRW128.35bn. For the first half of the year,\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/paradise-co-revenue-down-10-1-for-h1\" target=\"_blank\">the casino operator<\/a>\u00a0posted revenue of KRW101.23bn (US$77.91m), a decline of 10.1 per cent when compared to last year.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A report by Seoul Shinhan Investment Corp in May stated that&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/paradise-co-could-benefit-from-return-of-japanese-tourists-analysts-say\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Paradise Co<\/a>&nbsp;could benefit from the return of regular Japanese flights in the coming months due to the arrival of Japanese tourists.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Paradise Co reported that revenue was also up 110 per cent month-on-month at KRW27.36bn (US$20.9m).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":176,"featured_media":9746,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"is_press_release":false,"is_interview":false,"is_opinion":false,"focusai_summary":"Paradise Co reported a significant rebound in July 2022 revenue, reaching KRW27.36bn (US$20.9m), marking a 296.5% year-on-year and 110% month-on-month increase, driven primarily by table game sales.
