It&#8217;s reported <strong>net income of PHP2.16bn (US$38.8m)<\/strong>, up 2,600 per cent\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/pagcor-gaming-revenue-down-20-in-first-half\" target=\"_blank\">when compared to last year<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The regulator reported\u00a0<strong>income from gaming operations<\/strong>\u00a0of PHP24.72bn (US$443m), up 67.3 per cent year-on-year. Total income was PHP26.70bn, up 68.1 per cent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It attributed the increase in revenue to the\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/manila-to-ease-covid-19-restrictions-from-tomorrow\" target=\"_blank\">easing of Covid-19 restrictions<\/a>\u00a0as many casinos in the Philippines resumed full operations in March. PAGCOR&#8217;s spending rose 62.5 per cent year-on-year to PHP10.54bn.
