According to the Bangkok Post,\u00a0<strong>Pada Vorakanon<\/strong>, a Palang Pracharath Party MP for Bangkok and spokeswoman for the special House committee, said the panel had approved its report and will submit it by Wednesday (July 27).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In June, the Thai House of Representatives established a 60-member \u201cspecial committee\u201d to study the proposal with the aim of \u200b\u200battracting foreign tourists. The committee includes\u00a0<strong>15 representatives from the Thai cabinet and 45 members<\/strong>\u00a0from various political parties across the country.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The committee has discussed allowing\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/thailand-could-host-up-to-5-casino-resorts\" target=\"_blank\">up to five integrated resorts<\/a>\u00a0across Thailand with the objective of boosting <strong>economic development<\/strong>\u00a0in host cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Vorakanon, the committee held 24 meetings to review and discuss its findings before they were approved.
