The Crystal Endeavor, which was delivered to Genting Cruises in July 2021, will be renamed Silver Endeavor when it joins Royal Caribbean&#8217;s Silversea Cruises fleet in August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Royal Caribbean financed the purchase of the vessel through a 15-year unsecured loan agreement with German export agency Euler Hermes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jason Liberty<\/strong>, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean Group<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>said: \u201cThis ship will be the fourth vessel to join Silversea\u2019s fleet since 2020, which demonstrates our commitment to growth.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In January, Genting Hong Kong\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/genting-hong-kong-considers-filing-for-liquidation\" target=\"_blank\">filed for liquidation<\/a>\u00a0after a German court rejected a request to release US$88m for its German shipyard unit MV Werften. Due to liquidity constraints, the company delayed the\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/genting-hong-kong-delays-publication-of-2021-results\" target=\"_blank\">publication of its 2021 financial results<\/a>.
