The sum amounts to either 2 months or 1.5 months of salary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/wynn-macau-and-sjm-to-award-employees-with-a-special-bonus\" target=\"_blank\">The first payment<\/a>\u00a0of the &#8220;annual living subsidy&#8221; was made on January 6 as a move to<strong>\u00a0reward employees for their efforts\u00a0<\/strong>during the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SJM Holdings has recently announced that it has\u00a0<strong>reached an agreement with a banking syndicate\u00a0<\/strong>led by Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Macau) for\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/sjm-holdings-refinancing-plan-gets-final-approval\" target=\"_blank\">syndicated loan facilities worth up to HK$19bn (US$2.4bn)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new loan facilities have a maturity date of June 20, 2028, and an effective interest rate at HIBOR [Hong Kong Interbank Offered Rate] or MAIBOR [Macau<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>Interbank Offered Rate] plus 1.25 per cent \u20132.25 per cent.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the same statement, SJM also confirmed that on June 23 i<strong>t entered into a Concession Amendment Contract<\/strong>&nbsp;to extend its Macau gaming concession from June 26&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-casino-contract-extensions-to-be-signed-on-june-23\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">to December 31<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SJM Holdings has announced it will pay the second instalment of its annual living subsidy for employees.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":176,"featured_media":25400,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"is_press_release":false,"is_interview":false,"is_opinion":false,"focusai_summary":"SJM Holdings is distributing the second tranche of its annual employee living subsidy, equivalent to 1.5 to 2 months' salary, following an initial payment in January.
