{"id":30980,"date":"2022-06-21T03:37:55","date_gmt":"2022-06-21T06:37:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/?p=30980"},"modified":"2026-04-23T07:36:11","modified_gmt":"2026-04-23T10:36:11","slug":"pagcor-inaugurates-20-classroom-building-in-angeles-city","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/pagcor-inaugurates-20-classroom-building-in-angeles-city","title":{"rendered":"PAGCOR inaugurates 20-classroom building in Angeles City"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>PAGCOR released PHP50m for the construction of the four-storey structure at the City College of Angeles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>The Philippines.- The\u00a0<strong>Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation\u00a0<\/strong>(PAGCOR) has inaugurated a four-storey, 20-classroom structure at the City College of Angeles, one of the most densely-populated educational institutions in the province of Pampanga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PAGCOR chairman and CEO\u00a0<strong>Andrea Domingo<\/strong>\u00a0was present at the groundbreaking ceremony together with Angeles City mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Domingo stated: &#8220;I\u2019m delighted to see that the construction of the facility has officially been completed, and am hopeful that once in-person classes start for the City of Angeles, students will have more comfortable space for studying than they did a few years ago.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She said PAGCOR projects would reach over PHP60bn in revenues by the end of the year with its gaming operations now back in operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The regulator reported\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/pagcor-reports-net-income-of-us11-8m-for-q1\" target=\"_blank\">revenue from gaming operations<\/a>\u00a0was up 35 per cent year-on-year to\u00a0<strong>PHP11.29bn (US$225.8m)\u00a0<\/strong>in the first quarter of the year. Net income was up 35.05 per cent to PHP624.7m (US$11.8m).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PAGCOR also said PHP6.73bn in taxes and dues were paid in the first quarter.
