Police say they found people placing bets during a cockfighting match in a backyard. Officers seized money, seven live roosters, a dead rooster and a gaffe fragment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Officers are preparing charges for suspected violations of Republic Act 9287.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A few days ago,\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/philippines-3-arrested-over-illegal-e-sabong-website\" target=\"_blank\">police in Manila<\/a>\u00a0arrested three people as part of a series of operations following President Rodrigo Duterte\u2019s\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/philippines-president-changes-his-mind-and-orders-e-sabong-ban\" target=\"_blank\">ban on e-sabong operations<\/a>.
