They&#8217;ve also prevented more than 90,000 people from leaving the country for participating in gambling activities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, 15,000 people were identified as using illegal means to leave the country to engage in gambling activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Chinese government has wagered a crackdown on cross-border gambling activities. In 2020, it established\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/china-continues-to-expand-gambling-blacklist\" target=\"_blank\">a blacklist of destinations<\/a>\u00a0to which cross-border transfers are controlled.
