According to the Vietnam Investment Review,\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/suncity-group-reports-us33m-loss-for-2021\" target=\"_blank\">Suncity Group Holdings<\/a>, which holds about 34 per cent of Hoiana casino resort, has reported that its share of the losses was about HK$438m (US$55.8m).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other investors in Hoiana include Vietnamese asset manager VinaCapital Group, which holds 32 per cent, and Hong Kong-based VMS Asset Management Ltda, which holds 34 per cent. The province of\u00a0<strong>Quang Nam<\/strong>\u00a0is a major tourist destination in Vietnam, whose tourism sector has been\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/vietnam-tourist-arrivals-down-76-year-on-year\" target=\"_blank\">deeply affected by the Covid-19 pandemic<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Quang Nam province\u00a0<\/strong>hopes to attract 1.7 million foreign tourists and 4.2 million domestic tourists in 2022, according to the province\u2019s tourism bureau.
