It predicts a 29 per cent drop in revenue this year, forecasting sales of around $12bn, <strong>34 per cent of 2019 levels<\/strong> ($36bn).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mass market revenue is expected to reach 90 per cent of pre-Covid levels this year, compared to 25 per cent for VIP.\u00a0UBS has also cut its 2023 forecast by 15 per cent due to the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-keeps-covid-19-test-requirements-for-guangdong-arrivals\" target=\"_blank\">ongoing Covid-19 outbreak in mainland China<\/a>. It now predicts GGR for 2023 will reach 64 per cent of 2019 levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A few days ago,\u00a0<strong>Fitch Ratings<\/strong>\u00a0predicted\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-ggr-to-reach-44-of-pre-pandemic-levels-in-2022-analysts-say\" target=\"_blank\">Macau\u2019s gross gaming revenue (GGR) for 2022 will be about 44 per cent<\/a>\u00a0of pre-pandemic levels. Analysts expect the city could see revenue of MOP129bn. <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-ggr-could-reach-44-per-cent-of-pre-pandemic-levels-analysts-say\" target=\"_blank\">Sanford C. Bernstein Ltd previously came to a similar conclusion<\/a>, predicting that Macau\u2019s GGR could recover 47 per cent year-over-year in 2022 to around 44 per cent of pre-pandemic levels seen in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-ggr-up-1-8-in-december\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Macau\u2019s full-year gross gambling revenue<\/a>&nbsp;for 2021 was up 43.7 per cent year-on-year at MOP86.86bn (US$10.82bn).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Macau average daily revenue up 3% last week<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sanford C. Bernstein Ltd<\/strong>&nbsp;has reported that average daily sales in Macau reached MOP100m in the week ended April 10 week-on-week.
