That\u2019s why more and more possibilities are on the table for regulators and lawmakers nationwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In New Jersey, where PASPA met its downfall, eSports betting could be the next big thing. As the regular segment is already up and thriving, the fast-growing market is now under the radar of the authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Assemblyman Ralph Caputo filed legislation Monday to expand the industry in the thriving eSports market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEsports is the next big thing when it comes to sporting events,\u201d Caputo assured. The assemblyman chairs the Assembly Tourism, Gaming and the Arts Committee and is also a former Atlantic City casino executive. \u201cWith online sports betting now legal in our state and a rapidly expanding esports industry already in existence.
