Police said\u00a0<strong>all parties would &#8220;proactively&#8221; seek out such sites<\/strong>\u00a0with the aim of taking them offline or blocking them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to authorities, the problem has intensified since market liberalisation in Macau at the turn of the century.The judicial police said this &#8220;not only caused losses to tourists and citizens but also\u00a0<strong>damaged the image of Macau\u00a0<\/strong>as a tourist destination&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Police started investigating illegal websites that were using Macau casino brands and the name of the DICJ in 2018.
