Labour groups say this may cause some satellite casino owners may withdraw from the market, leading to job losses at satellite yards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are currently&nbsp;<strong>18 satellite casinos in Macau&nbsp;<\/strong>operating under licences attached to one of the six casino concessionaires but run by third parties in individually owned premises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Legislator Chan Chak Mo<\/strong>\u00a0has recently said Macau authorities are considering extending a proposed <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-satellite-casinos-three-year-grace-period-could-be-extended\" target=\"_blank\">three-year grace period<\/a><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>to allow satellite casinos to resolve ownership issues.
