Macau.- Authorities in Macau have reported that 655,505 tourists visited the city in February<\/strong>. The figure was down 5.6 per cent when compared to the previous month, despite\u00a0the Chinese New Year<\/a> holiday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The number of same-day visitors to Macau more than doubled year-on-year to 376,033, while more profitable overnight visitors rose 13.9 per cent to 274,472. The average length of stay decreased by 0.4 days to 1.5 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The number of tourists from mainland China rose 60 per cent year-on-year to 609,249, of which 196,523 entered on individual visitor visas.
