According to the prefectural government and Casinos Austria International Japan, its partner,\u00a0<strong>the development phase will cost JPY351.8bn<\/strong>. Other costs, including working capital will raise the cost to JPY438.3bn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The equity portion will be JPY175.3bn, of which 60 per cent will come from Casinos Austria International Japan, 30 per cent from other foreign companies and 10 per cent from Japanese companies.\u00a0Casinos Austria International Japan is expected to complete the financing in April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Nagasaki Prefectural Government has previously said it expects\u00a0<strong>the IR to open in 2027\u00a0<\/strong>and to generate\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/nagasaki-expects-annual-ggr-of-us1-37bn-from-its-ir\" target=\"_blank\">annual gross gaming revenue<\/a>\u00a0(GGR) of JPY150bn (US$1.37bn), assuming it gains a licence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tokyo sets aside US$87,000 for IR research in 2022 budget<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government\u2019s fiscal year 2022 budget,&nbsp;<strong>Tokyo\u2019s Bureau of Port and Harbor has secured JPY10m (US$87,000)<\/strong>&nbsp;for an integrated resort (IR) study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last October, Japan\u2019s bicameral legislature opened the application window for&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/japan-opens-application-period-for-ir-submissions-until-april-2022\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">three integrated resorts licences<\/a>.
