At a Legislative Assembly committee, legislator Chan Chak Moas responded to concerns about limits on the\u00a0<strong>number of gaming tables and gaming machines<\/strong>\u00a0that gaming concessionaire will be permitted to operate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chak Mo\u00a0said the cap was intended to offer better control over the size of Macau&#8217;s gaming industry and to promote the &#8220;healthy development&#8221; of the market. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Casino operators in Macau are set to be given\u00a0<strong>minimum annual casino gross gaming revenue (GGR) targets<\/strong>, according to proposed\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-casino-licences-limited-to-six-with-a-duration-of-10-years\" target=\"_blank\">amendments to the gaming regulatory framework<\/a>.
