The figure was down 13.8 per cent when compared to 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lottery draw sales accounted for CNY12.86bn. Income from betting and prediction games was CNY8.24bn and that of instant games CNY7.65bn. Keno sales contributed CNY2.05bn while video lottery sales generated CNY50,000. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Welfare Lottery sales<\/strong>\u00a0were CNY3.97bn, down 8.1 per cent year-on-year. CNY7.54bn of that came from lottery draw sales while instant game sales brought in CNY4.37bn. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sports lottery revenue was CNY16.8bn, down 18 per cent year-on-year. In this segment, lottery draw sales accounted for CNY5.31bn and betting and prediction games CNY8.24bn.\u00a0Instant games generated CNY3.27bn and video lottery sales added Y50,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most of the Welfare Lottery and Sports Lottery sales came from the Guangdong province, which generated CNY1.51bn and CNY1.82bn respectively.
