Suncity, for example, was active in jurisdictions such as Cambodia, the Philippines and South Korea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Several of the VIP rooms<\/strong>\u00a0have already been closed for long periods of the last two years because of the Covid-19 pandemic, so the impact on revenues might not be so obviously dramatic. But, in the medium-term, the restriction on the Chinese VIP sector\u00a0<strong>will alter the business model\u00a0<\/strong>for many casinos in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"887\" height=\"521\" src=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2022\/03\/GBGC.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-27698\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In Cambodia, for many years NagaCorp was not overly reliant on VIPs. In 2010 VIP revenues accounted for 35% of revenues and its mix of revenues was balanced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the course of the last decade,\u00a0<strong>NagaCorp\u2019s profile<\/strong>\u00a0became more weighted in favour of the VIP sector.
