People arriving in Macau via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge will have to wait at the boundary-crossing point for the result of a <strong>Covid-19 test<\/strong>, the results of which may take up to six hours to obtain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to <strong>Macau\u2019s Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre<\/strong>, those with a negative result will be taken to a medical observation hotel for a <strong>14-day quarantine<\/strong>. Positive cases will have to isolate and go on through treatment at a dedicated clinical centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Authorities also announced that, <strong>from February 21<\/strong>, people aged 12 or over setting off from either <strong>Hong Kong or Taiwan<\/strong> will have to show <strong>proof of vaccination<\/strong> against Covid-19 before they are allowed to travel to Macau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Macau has relaxed quarantine requirements for Taiwan visitors. They will now need to stay in a medical observation hotel for 14 days down from 21 days.
