That&#8217;s a 15 per cent increase from the previous year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of the 206 exclusions, 94 were self-exclusion requests by individuals, 112 were at the request of family members, and 9 were from casino licensees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PAGCOR&#8217;s Player Exclusion Program was implemented so that patrons who believed that relatives or themselves had a problem with gambling could be excluded from all gaming establishments or gambling websites. The regulator provides a computerised database of people who are restricted from playing at gaming venues operated and regulated by PAGCOR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/pagcor-rated-excellent-on-2020-corporate-governance-scorecard\" target=\"_blank\">PAGCOR<\/a>\u00a0has recently earned an \u201cexcellent\u201d rating in its 2020 Corporate Governance Scorecard (CGS) assessment from the Governance Commission for Government-Owned or Controlled Corporations (GCG).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In its Scorecard Validation report, GCG stated, \u201c<strong>PAGCOR has clear and strong lines of communication&nbsp;<\/strong>that allow the agency to respond quickly and efficiently to customer requirements and public needs to ensure consistent quality service.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CGS assessment is implemented for all government-owned and controlled companies (GOCCs).
