Macau.- Macau’s health authorities have decided to keep the current 48-hour validity period for negative Covid-19 tests for tourists entering Macau from Guangdong. Visitors from other cities in mainland China\u00a0<\/strong>need only a negative test within the past 7 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At a press conference,\u00a0Conde S. Januario Hospital clinical director Dr Tai Wa Hou<\/strong>, who has been coordinating the Macau Health Bureau’s response to the outbreak, said the health authorities will continue the 48-hour validity period in Guangdong province until the pandemic situation in the province is stabilised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Cases of the highly contagious variant of Omicron have been detected in several cities in Guangdong, including Zhuhai, which borders Macau, since last month.
