Western Australia’s Royal Commission into Crown Perth will share its findings with the government at the beginning of March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Australia.- Crown Resorts will finally know if it is found suitable is to hold a casino licence for its Perth venue<\/strong>. The Western Australia Royal Commission is due to present its findings to prime minister Mark McGowan and premier Kim Beazley in early March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Although McGowan and the state government will have the final decision on the fate of Crown Perth, the final report of the Royal Commission will include\u00a0a review of the Perth casino, its management and the state\u2019s gambling regulatory body<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The WA Royal Commission<\/strong> will decide if Crown Resorts is suitable to continue holding a casino gaming licence for Crown Perth and also deliver findings on Western Australia\u2019s regulatory framework for the gambling industry<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It heard that that Western Australia\u2019s Gaming and Wagering Commission (GWC)\u00a0didn\u2019t investigate allegations of money laundering<\/a>\u00a0against Crown because the company\u2019s former legal boss considered them to be “a media beat-up\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Crown Resorts has also faced a Royal Commission in Victoria. In that case, it was found unsuitable to hold a licence for its Crown Melbourne casino<\/a>. <\/strong>However, the operator was allowed to keep its licence under stricter conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
