Thailand.- Panich Vikitsreth, a member of the House of Representatives\u00a0and of the sub-committees<\/a>\u00a0that are studying the possibility of\u00a0legalising the development of integrated resorts in Thailand<\/a>, has suggested the country’s first IR should be built in a less developed province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In a Facebook post,\u00a0Vikitsreth said it would be better to open an IR in a remote province\u00a0to make the economy more flexible and to help develop the province and nearby areas. He said a casino complex would attract more economic development<\/strong>, with new jobs, increased tourism and more businesses and travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Authorities have set up four subcommittees<\/strong>\u00a0to consider all forms of possible entertainment venues. One of the subcommittees will study legislation, revenue and tax collection.
