Macau.- Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd has told GGRAsia’s that\u00a0it “currently has no junket operators”.<\/strong> The company did not confirm the date when the junket operator stopped working with Galaxy Entertainment at its StarWorld hotel grounds in central Macau or at Galaxy Macau in Cotai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Junket operators have historically introduced high-value players to Macau casinos and prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, analysts described Galaxy Entertainment as one of the market leaders serving VIP gamblers. However, operators have been cutting their relationships with junkets since the\u00a0arrest of Alvin Chau Cheok Wa<\/a>\u00a0on cross-border gambling and money laundering accusations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Suncity Group Holdings decided to close all of its VIP rooms<\/a>\u00a0in Macau until further notice.
