Authorities in the Philippines decided to expand the list of cities under Level 3 Covid-19 restrictions due to a rise in Covid-19 cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The Philippines.- The capital city of Metro Manila is under Level 3 Covid-19 restrictions until at least January 15. However, it is not the only city that is going through a new set of countermeasures<\/strong> to avoid a rise in Covid-19 cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Authorities have recently decided to expand the list of cities under the more stringent alert level 3 status. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some of the cities that were added to the list are: Dagupan, Angeles, Batangas, Lucena and Lapu-lapu City, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte<\/strong> has recently said: “We are reverting back to a stricter quarantine protocol to minimize mobility and exposure of the coronavirus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Our minimum public health standards shall be strictly enforced and violations shall be dealt with accordingly under the law especially under Republic Act No. 11332 or the Mandatory Reporting of Notifiable Diseases and Health Events of Public Concern Act.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite being under Level 3 alert, casino venues in Manila<\/a> are open but on a limited basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Solaire Resort & Casino <\/strong>stated through its website that the complex is open to all fully vaccinated guests while the casino is operating at a limited capacity in line with government guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As regards City of Dreams Manila<\/a>, the casino operator said that proof of vaccination will be required upon entry to be allowed access to its facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
