{"id":26019,"date":"2022-01-05T07:37:33","date_gmt":"2022-01-05T10:37:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/?p=26019"},"modified":"2026-04-23T12:32:36","modified_gmt":"2026-04-23T15:32:36","slug":"kangwon-land-to-keep-reduced-operating-hours-until-january-16","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/kangwon-land-to-keep-reduced-operating-hours-until-january-16","title":{"rendered":"Kangwon Land to keep reduced operating hours until January 16"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kangwon Land Inc has decided to continue operating at reduced hours until at least January 16 to avoid a rise in Covid-19 cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">South Korea.- The South Korean casino\u00a0<strong>Kangwon Land\u00a0<\/strong>has told GGRAsia that its gaming venue will continue operating at reduced hours from 10am to 10pm every day until January 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/kangwon-land-to-reduce-hours-due-to-covid-19-countermeasures\">Kangwon Land<\/a>\u00a0introduced the restricted hours on December 18, 2021, amid a new rise in Covid-19 cases due to the Omicron variant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The measure was supposed to be in place until January 2 but the casino operator decided to extend the restriction while authorities did the same with the social distancing rules imposed last month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Only people who have been&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/kangwon-land-to-reopen-for-fully-vaccinated-clients\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fully vaccinated against Covid-19<\/a>&nbsp;will be allowed to enter. People will need to&nbsp;<strong>show a vaccine pass as proof.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kangwon Land launches ban mechanism for problem gamblers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/kangwon-land-to-launch-ban-mechanism-for-problem-gamblers\">Kangwon Land<\/a><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>has been providing a 10-day emergency ban mechanism for problem gamblers from January 1.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Family members will be able to request the ban by email or fax both for foreign players or Korean citizens.
