In July 2018,\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/stars-case-against-high-roller-to-go-to-queensland-court\">the high roller<\/a>\u00a0attended the Gold Coast casino on a junket and lost a $40m cheque, which he allegedly cancelled on returning to his native Singapore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Star filed a lawsuit in Singapore in 2019<\/strong>, but the case was dismissed\u00a0by the<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/the-star-claim-against-high-roller-rejected\">Singapore International Commercial Court<\/a>\u00a0and by international Judge Jeremy Cooke.
