He said the CCC&#8217;s Information Technology and Enforcement &amp; Investigation team \u201chas been monitoring daily all of the movements involving IPI\u2019s gaming assets for auction\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/ipi-equipment-auction-postponed-for-30-days\">The first of the six auctions<\/a>\u00a0was originally scheduled to be held on November 30, however, the receiver Clear Management Ltd has postponed the auction for 30 days after IPI requested more time to settle a lawsuit with a former contractor. The sale will be cancelled if IPI can reach an agreement before December 15.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The auction was ordered after <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/cnmi-court-denies-motion-to-appoint-receiver-for-ipi-sale\">USA Fanter<\/a>\u00a0sued IPI for failing to pay the full contract for labour and materials provided for the improvement of IPI\u2019s property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yeom said: &#8220;Our team and myself included, have been constantly communicating with the court-appointed receiver Clear Management team\u2026to collectively manage the movement of these IPI&#8217;s assets as carefully as possible leading up to the auction.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yeom said\u00a0<strong>the CCC plans to follow all of the items that will be sold<\/strong>\u00a0through the auction by obtaining copies of the bills of sale.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Andrew Yeom, CCC\u2019s executive director, said the regulator is closely monitoring Imperial Pacific International&#8217;s assets.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":176,"featured_media":19434,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"is_press_release":false,"is_interview":false,"is_opinion":false,"focusai_summary":"The Commonwealth Casino Commission (CCC) is closely monitoring Imperial Pacific International's (IPI) gaming assets following a 30-day postponement of a court-ordered auction.
