Marina Bay Sands has announced it will host a virtual career fair from December 6 to 8, with over 1,000 positions available at the integrated resort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Singapore.-\u00a0Marina Bay Sands<\/a>\u00a0will host its first virtual career fair<\/strong> on its newly launched Virtual Meeting Platform as it seeks to fill over 1,000 positions. The event will be held from December 6 to 8. Major hiring departments includes food and beverage, hotel operations, corporate, casino operations, mall management, museum, facilities and security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marina Bay Sands\u2019 talent acquisition specialists<\/strong>\u00a0will be available online to answer specific job and human resources queries via the live chat function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chan Yit Foon<\/strong>, senior vice president, human resources, at Marina Bay Sands,\u00a0said: \u201cThe Covid-19 pandemic has certainly sparked new ways of recruiting and hiring. There is no better time for us to pilot our first virtual recruitment initiative via the integrated resort\u2019s new Virtual Meeting Place.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“At Marina Bay Sands, we are constantly on the lookout for the best talent and we strive to do so even in the current endemic climate.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Singapore casino revenue may reach 75% of pre-pandemic levels in 2022<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A report released by Fitch Ratings<\/a> has forecast that Singapore\u2019s casino revenue may reach around 75 per cent of 2019 levels in 2022<\/strong>. This year it has recovered to about 50 per cent from pre-pandemic levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to data released by the two Singapore operators, based on the current exchange rate, their total gaming revenue in 2019 was approximately US$3.35bn. Resorts World Sentosa\u2019s gaming revenue<\/strong> for the full year of 2019 was SG$1.62bn (US$1.19bn) while Marina Bay Sands\u2019 revenue <\/strong>was slightly less than US$2.17bn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
