It has also extended <strong>the validity period of negative Covid-19 nucleic acid test results<\/strong>\u00a0for air passengers from 48 hours to 7 days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone visiting 27 other places in the mainland within 14 days of their scheduled arrival in Macau must make a statement when entering Macau. If <strong>they show any symptoms of Covid-19 within 21 days\u00a0<\/strong>of leaving any of the 27 locations, they must &#8220;see a doctor immediately and undergo a nucleic acid test.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yesterday test rules for visitors from <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/zhuhai-relaxes-covid-19-restrictions-for-macau\">Zhuhai<\/a>\u00a0were also extended to seven days.\u00a0Mainland China continues to be the only country to have a\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/covid-19-vaccine-passports-could-speed-up-macau-tourism-recovery\">largely quarantine-free travel bubble<\/a>\u00a0with Macau and Zhuhai is the mainland travel route for mainland Chinese tourists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-continues-negotiating-with-mainland-china-on-e-visas\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Authorities in Macau<\/a>&nbsp;are in talks with mainland China about&nbsp;<strong>restarting the electronic version of the Individual Visit Scheme (IVS)<\/strong>&nbsp;but it seems nothing will change in the short term.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Authorities in Macau have eased quarantine requirements for all visitors from mainland China from today.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":176,"featured_media":24846,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"is_press_release":false,"is_interview":false,"is_opinion":false,"focusai_summary":"Macau has relaxed quarantine protocols for visitors from mainland China, including extending the validity of negative COVID-19 test results for air passengers and easing restrictions for specific mainland regions.
