Macau.-\u00a0The Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO)<\/strong>\u00a0has reported that\u00a0average daily visits continue to increase<\/strong>. November 12 saw the highest figure of tourist arrivals since the beginning of the month with a total of 30,105 visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The average daily rate of visitors was 25,433 between November 5 and November 11 inclusive. The increase, when compared to the first weeks of the previous month, was mainly attributed to relaxation in some travel restrictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In October,\u00a0Ho Iat Seng<\/a>, Macau\u2019s chief executive, said\u00a0people who plan to travel outside Macau would no longer need to present a negative Covid-19 test<\/strong>\u00a0issued within 24 hours of departure.\u00a0Despite a recovery from October when average daily visitors were 10,622, the figure is still far from pre-pandemic levels.
