The government of Singapore has announced it will ease travel restrictions from November 29 for fully vaccinated travellers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Singapore.- As the rate of fully vaccinated people continues to rise in Singapore and Malaysia, the countries have decided to launch a travel bubble without quarantine from November 29. According to a joint statement issued by the countries’ prime ministers, visitors fully vaccinated visitors will be able to enter Singapore quarantine-free via Vaccinated Travel Lanes (VTLs)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those who want to travel to\u00a0Singapore will be required to provide a vaccination certificate in English\u00a0<\/strong>and must have a pre-departure test within 48 hours before flying. There will be six designated flights in an initial phase but the number could increase if the vaccination rate continues rising in both countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Government of Singapore<\/a>\u00a0has previously launched a travel bubble with Australia. Australian residents and citizens were allowed to enter from yesterday (November 8).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Singapore also opened its borders to the United States, United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, France, and most recently, Switzerland. Tourists are required to have a Covid-19 test when they arrive <\/strong>and another on their 10th day in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Casino operators<\/a> in Singapore require visitors to be fully vaccinated <\/strong>or to show results of a negative Covid-19 test to enter. Marina Bay Sands <\/strong>said its policy would also cover The Shoppes and its hotels from October 20. The casino operator said 97 per cent of its staff have been fully vaccinated<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
