According to police, those arrested were watching and betting on cockfights \u2013 12 were arrested in Barangay Lawaan 1 while the other 5 people were caught in San Isidro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Officers found four wounded roosters and seized a total of P1,850 in bet money. Sun Star said the men arrested, all of them of legal age, will face be charged for breaching Presidential Decree 1602 on illegal gambling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In September,\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/philippines-11-arrested-for-illegal-online-e-sabong-betting\">officers arrested 11 people<\/a>\u00a0for allegedly being involved in<strong>\u00a0illegal e-sabong betting\u00a0<\/strong>in Banban Township, Tarlac Province.
