Australia.- The Australian Capital Territory (ACT) <\/strong>has announced new measures that allow the reopening <\/strong>of Casino Canberra<\/a>, a venue operated by Aquis Entertainment Limited. According to local media, the ACT is the first Australian jurisdiction to reach a 90 per cent full vaccination rate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Authorities will ease restrictions from tomorrow (October 29). Face masks will no longer be mandatory outdoors but will remain mandatory indoors, and capacity limits for hospitality venues and major events will be relaxed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Aquis Entertainment Limited, the company which operates Casino Canberra, has called all of its staff and will hold a meeting in order to prepare for the reopening of the casino. Last year, the casino<\/a> was shut for almost four months due to lockdown measures, and the company cut around 90 per cent of its total workforce<\/a> in March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The government of Singapore<\/a> has announced the launch of a travel bubble with Australia. The first stage of the travel bubble<\/a> will be open to fully vaccinated Australian residents and citizens, students and business travellers from November 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Singapore has previously opened its borders to the United States, United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, France, and most recently, Switzerland. Tourists are required to have a Covid-19 test when they arrive <\/strong>and another on their 10th day in the country.
