Now analysts predict the current quarter will be even worse.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Analysts at Bloomberg say the poor numbers seen during the\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-golden-week-visitors-down-93\">October Golden Week holiday<\/a>\u00a0is likely to continue and will impact on fourth quarter revenue.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, analysts are optimistic that the\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/zhuhai-to-ease-travel-restrictions-with-macau-from-tomorrow\">cancellation of the quarantine requirement<\/a>\u00a0for returning from Macau to Zhuhai will have a positive impact on GGR, but Bernstein has pointed out that Macau\u2019s total daily gaming revenue fell to its lowest daily level since September 2020 during the week of October 11-17.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At MOP12.81bn ($1.60bn), mass-market GGR was down&nbsp;<strong>24 per cent<\/strong>&nbsp;during the third quarter when&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-reaches-us2-11bn-in-mass-market-ggr-in-q2\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">compared to the previous quarter<\/a>. VIP baccarat&nbsp;<strong>was down 29.9 per cent quarter-on-quarter<\/strong>, representing 32 per cent of total GGR. Mass-market baccarat represented 56 per cent of GGR at MOP10.56bn.
