The new rules became effective on January 1, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Swedish gambling regulator\u00a0<strong><em>Spelinspektionen<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0said that it has decided to amend some provisions in the authority\u2019s money laundering regulations in order to comply with the law. These changes establish that licensees must analyse what actions may be taken against employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another modification focuses on the phrase \u201cSecurity Police\u201d, as with the new changes, it is given the same rights as the Police Authority to request information from operators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The changes made by Spelinspektionen took effect on January 1, 2020, while the previous regulations on measures against money laundering and terrorist financing will be repealed, as per the regulator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Sweden works against illegal gambling<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The regulator has recently issued a number of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/sweden-illegal-gambling\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><em>relevant points that identify a legal gambling operator<\/em><\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;in the country. The company must offer deposits, withdrawals and wins in Swedish currency, information in Swedish or the conditions for participation must be in the same language.
