Stagnant revenues blamed on maintenance undertaken on one of its casino cruise ships<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
India.- Indian casino operator Delta Corp<\/em><\/strong> has reported flat results for the quarter ending December 31 2019. The operator posted identical numbers as the previous year with around INR2.1 billion (about \u20ac26.6 million) in net income.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The company\u2019s profit in the quarter amounted to INR 551 million (\u20ac6.9 million), which was 9 per cent higher than the previous year\u2019s figures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Revenues from the casino gaming division declined by 3.4 per cent. The ones from the online skill gaming division increased 8.7 per cent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Addressing the decline, the company said that one of its casino cruise ships, owned and operated by the Delta Pleasure Cruise Company, underwent dry-dock maintenance. Furthermore, it was not operational for 25 days during the quarter which impacted gaming revenue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Delta Corp is India\u2019s only listed casino operator.
