A first raid ended with the arrest of 13 people who were found playing card games. A second raid in Ayson village resulted in the arrest of nine people for <strong>illegal bets in the card game tong-its<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to The Inquirer,<strong>\u00a0two village officials<\/strong> were among those arrested. A third raid saw seven people arrested for playing tong-its and pusoy dos, a popular type of shedding card game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the raids, police seized a set of mahjong tiles, several decks of Spanish and American playing cards and cash. All those arrested will be charged with\u00a0<strong>violation of anti-gambling law<\/strong>s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">11 arrested for illegal online e-sabong betting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Officers arrested 11 people for allegedly being involved in<strong>\u00a0illegal e-sabong betting\u00a0<\/strong>in Banban Township, Tarlac Province. According to police, those arrested were watching and betting on\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/philippines-pagcor-to-receive-revenue-from-licensed-e-sabong\">e-sabong<\/a>\u00a0in Anupul Village at around 11.30pm so<strong>\u00a0were also breaching the curfew imposed by the government<\/strong>\u00a0due to the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Inquirer reported that those arrested&nbsp;<strong>were not wearing mandatory masks&nbsp;<\/strong>and that there was no social distancing.
